The latest transformation of PlayStation Portable, PSP, is not just a videogame console. It is now a movie, music gadget and game console rolled into one. This is what has shown to the crowd at E3 and the world by Sony with the unveiling of the sleek, next-generation PSP Go. With this new version of the gadget, Sony is now targeting beyond the hard-core gamers. With the addition of motion sensor capability and a number of enhancements, a lot of casual gamers are expected join PSP fans
According to Sony, hot videogame franchises like “Gran Turismo,” “Metal Gear Solid,” and “Resident Evil” are all developing new versions of their games for PSP Go. Games . However, details on how to download the games to the console is not yet revealed. That’s understandable since they just demonstrated this sleek version of PSP.


PSP Go devices will be first available this coming October in the United States and Europe priced at US$249 and Eu249, respectively. Release in Japan will follow on April 2010 but no mention of release date for Asia. At that price, PSP Go is tad bit more expensive than PSP-3000.
